What if we made a mistake with your custom dog?

We put so much love and joy into the ruffly 2,500 custom dogs we made. We hope you love getting them as much as we loved making them!

Yet, with this many dogs, we had around 37,500 opportunities to make a mistake. (That’s not a joke - each dog has around 15 steps to it; and some steps are more detailed than others). Therefore, it is more than certain that somewhere along the way, we will have made an error, though we hope they are far and few between. And we apologize in advance if we do. But with that being said, if we caused a mistake, we are dedicated to correcting it.

What we can fix

  • If we inserted or created a typo that was not in your submission.
  • If we sent you the wrong dog(s) by mistake; or mistakenly added the wrong picture or information to your card.
  • If we forgot to include a dog you both paid for and submitted the information for
  • If we made a very glaringly obvious issue on your dog’s picture
  • If your dog(s) arrives damaged

What we can’t fix

  • If you made a typo or mistake in your submission. We fixed all of those we caught, but made clear we could not promise to catch every single one.
  • You entered your address incorrectly
  • If you requested the crop and filter step but don’t like how it turned out. With the exception of a major mistake, this reflects our best effort on all dog photos with all their intricacies.
  • If you paid for a dog but did not submit it. (We may be able to fix this but we would have to charge more. In the mean time, email us to let us know and we'll follow up with you once we have the steps and cost to correct this.)

HOW TO REQUEST A CORRECTION

Please email us - don’t leave a Kickstarter comment or send a Kickstarter message. Kickstarter comments are challenging in terms of managing and tracking customer support, especially if we need to have a conversation or get a picture of the issue. 

  • Send your email to: gdbz.kickstarter@gmail.com
  • Include in your email headline: Your Name - Correction Request
  • Include in the body of your email: Your dog’s name, description of the issue, and provide a picture if possible. 

We will offer two rounds of reprints. You must have your correction request in by this time in order for us to send a correction. Again, we hope any errors are minimal, but we’re dedicated to making
